RE:     Improving this Fund Raising Event

This past fall on Saturday November 14th, 20 members of the club gathered at the Sugarlands Conference Center in the Smokies for a day of fellowship and hiking on three different trails of varying length.  It was a beautiful fall day, a day for good exercise and fellowship, and a day of raising money for the Rotary Foundation.

When the Fund Raiser “Walk in the Smokies” was announced to the club, there appeared to be wide spread and enthusiastic interest; but the number participating in the hike was lower than we had expected.  Most of us who participated agreed that it was an enjoyable and worthwhile venture, even with a modest fellowship of hikers and the Foundation was enhanced by a $1,000.

We are anxious, however, to have your feedback on ways in which this fund raising event might be enhanced and ask that you complete this quick questionnaire (less than 5 minutes) and return via email (kxrotary@bellsouth.net).
