Legacy 110 Campaign

The Rotary Club of Knoxville established its Foundation in 1929 to provide financial assistance for worthy college students. At the Club’s 90th anniversary in 2005, the Century Campaign was announced with a goal to build the Foundation’s endowments to over $1,000,000 by the Club’s 100th anniversary. In 2013 the Club announced its Century II Campaign with a $100,000 goal to allow new Club members the opportunity to support the Rotary Club Foundation. Now, as the Club approaches its 110th anniversary in 2025, we launch the Legacy 110 Campaign with a goal of increasing the Club’s endowment fund over $2,000,000.

The Club continues to use funds from the Rotary Foundation of Knoxville Endowment Fund, a named fund at the East Tennessee Foundation, to support a variety of causes, both local and international. Annually the Club awards at least $40,000 in college scholarships, recognizes multiple outstanding local teachers and supports a member-chosen local community service project that addresses a key need in Knoxville. Additional endowment funds will provide sustainable funding for further scholarship support and special projects of the Club.

Formed in 1915 by David Chapman, THE ROTARY CLUB OF KNOXVILLE has aided our community for almost 110 years. Our legacy of Service Above Self includes providing college scholarships to deserving local students, and funding special projects consistent with our Club’s vision. Maintaining Mr. Chapman’s legacy, and to continue our Club’s good work for our community, we ask for your help and support of our Foundation at one of the following donation levels:
